BYOD(Bring your own Device) VoIP

What is a “BYOD” service provider? “BYOD” is an acronym which stands for “Bring Your Own Device”. A service provider who does not encrypt or otherwise hide their SIP credentials, allowing you to configure virtually any SIP-based device for use with their service, qualifies as “BYOD”.

With Power to Grow VoIP, you have the freedom to use virtually any softphone, VoIP adapter, gateway, IP phone, or IP PBX system you choose, as long as it supports the Session Initiation Protocol (SIP). When you use your own unlocked device, you have a choice to place calls to different destinations using different providers to get the lowest call rate.

BYOD VoIP Services

1-DID(Inbound) Services

DID stands for –Direct Inward Dialing (or DDI, Direct Dialling Inward in Europe) is a feature offered by telephone companies for use with their customers’ PBX system, whereby the telephone company allocates a range of telephone numbers associated with one or more phone lines. Power to Grow DID allows a company to assign a personal number to each employee, without requiring a separate physical phone line, for each, to connect to the PBX. This way, telephony traffic can be split up and managed more easily.

A DID system can be used for fax and voice mail as well as for live voice connections. Compared to regular PBX service, Power to Grow DID saves the cost of a switchboard operator, calls go through faster, and callers feel they are calling a person rather than a company.

2-Call termination

Call termination, also known as voice termination, refers to the routing of calls from one carrier or provider to another.

Calls usually initiated as a VoIP call are terminated using the public switched telephone network (PSTN). In such cases, termination services may be sold as a separate commodity.

Unlike other call termination service providers, Power to go offers more than just Call Termination. We have developed a unique and highly configurable technology with access to over 30 major Tier 1 carriers. Our technology gives you full control over call routing option where you can select which carriers will handle your calls, at what rate, configure failover options and be able to enter route blocks if needed. Because of the large number of carriers/routes available Power to Grow Direct is able to offer one of the best rates to almost all destinations.
